It all started when Yusuke received a tape from Hiei about his next mission. Yusuke asked Kuwabara to come along but Kuwabara refused. He just agreed to see the tape at his house, and was really happy when Botan came along. They all saw the tape and saw how Yukina, an ice apparition, was being held at Tarukane's mansion. As soon as Kuwabara saw her, he instantly fell in love. It was clearly love at first sight. He immediately told Yusuke he'd go on the mission and the rest is history. He fought bravely for Yukina against the Toguro Brothers. After the case, she went away to live in a world of ice where she belonged. Kuwabara was depressed and everyone at school noticed. They all even bet money on what was wrong with him. Fortunately, Yukina went to the Dark Tournament and supported Kuwabara. Because of Yukina, Kuwabara was able to defeat Risho. In his fight against Elder Toguro, Yukina hated seeing Kazuma being tortured and had faith in him the entire time. When Toguro 'killed' Kuwabara in the fourth fight, Yukina couldn't help but cry. Kuwabara never loved anyone more than Yukina, and he knows that with her by his side, he's unstoppable.
